What’s a doula? Why do I need one?
A doula is a birth professional whose job is to support moms (and families) before, during, and after birth. Think maid of honor— but for your birth! Doulas provide continuous physical, emotional, and educational support, we even act as an advocate when it is needed. Research shows that having a doula present at your birth increases positive birth outcomes. I can help you understand your options for birth, create your birth plan, and guide you in comfort measures.

At this time, I am specializing and focusing on home birth in anticipation for midwifery school. I am happy to attend out of home births for repeat clients and for family / friends.
